Thanks for the pictures!
Saint Petersburg is one of the most imperial, majestic and elegant cities in Europe in my opinion. I was there ten years ago - as well as in Moscow - and it was simply mind-blowing! As a matter of fact Saint Petersburg and Moscow are two cities instilling power and grandeur with their architecture. BTW, I realized that on top of the towers of Saint Isaac´s Cathedral there are crosses but at their base, some sort of half moon. Does it have any meaning? What is it? |
