The layout and choices are very different.
Rome Termini concentrates its service and passengers in the front of the station.
At Gare de Nord, there is the choice to separate the flows of passengers with different halls located on different parts of station.
The arrival hall will be on the front the station while the departure hall will be above tracks on the middle of the station
The main shopping mall will be on the east side.

Gare du Nord will also grow vertically.
On this picture the turnstiles are one level above the ground and the main lines platforms.

None of those levels are underground

I see your point, I was referring to the commercial side of the facility. Now Termini looks like a shopping center (before it looked gloomy) and du Nord is moving in that direction with the projected changes.

I was not referring to traffic flows

One of big criticism about Gare du Nord is the lack of shops.
Gare du Nord has more shops than most visitors (non commuters) notice but most of these shops are not located in the main hall but inside the RER station.

First order for Omneo Premium inter-city EMUs

FRANCE: SNCF has placed the first order for the Premium inter-city version of Bombardier Transportation’s Omneo double-deck electric multiple-unit, acting on behalf of the Normandie region.

The €585m firm order announced on November 24 covers 40 EMUs scheduled to enter service from the end of 2019. The Omneo Premium design has a maximum speed of 200 km/h, and to suit the long-distance market it offers wi-fi, USB and standard power points, and wider seats than the regional version. The units for Normandie will be 135 m long with 470 seats, providing a 20% increase in capacity on the Paris – Rouen – Le Havre and Paris – Caen – Cherbourg routes

It's the train that has the job of removing snow from over the rails.

Hello

I should want to post some questions regarding French railways.

Is punctuality assured or your train can arrive late and no option to compensation?
How should I have to identify baggages?. Is there a sample to print or whatever? are they any restriction?

From 30min late you can ask for compensation:

it is mandatory to have bag tags on your luggage. Clearly write your name and firstname. If you loose/forget your bags, your personal information must be easy to retrieve.
SNCF

I don't know if there's a sample to print but free labels are available in many stations.

Hope this helps .

Thank you very much.

In addition, I bought several tickets and I travel with a children, therefore, buying an enfant+ card would worth... but by internet not possible if address is out of France.

I bought tickets with Loisir fare.
Can I buy enfant+ card in a station and ask for changing tickets to that reduction?

If the e320 are already in such a dirty state only 2 years since their introduction, I wonder if it will become as bad as the current e300/TMST sets after 25 years of service..

Thalys sets always seem to be much cleaner. I think majority shareholder SNCF needs to introduce some cleaning policies at Eurostar..
