regarding the housing project in Venezuela, a friend of mine works for Kayson (the private building firm) and he worked a while in Venezuela and was telling me about the project. It was definitely a top notch project as great management was used and it was built to last a long time. The project manager often said, we want to built something here that for years to come, people will say wow, the Iranians built that so many years ago and look at it now Very nationalist group. Also Keyson in general takes the best people and pays them well. They went through an extensive culture and language program before being sent over.

From what he described to me, it was a top notch project, can imagine that is why the Venezuelans were MORE motivated to have Iranians again build, and the 1 billion dollar price tag isn't bad for iran either

They are doing a pretty good job building all these houses for the homeless. If only they could improve the designs and add greenspace/parks it would be cool.

The biggest problem with Iranian people is that they don't know just how great their country can be.

20 year ago property prices were 1/20th of what they are now! Back then if you saved up you could buy a house. Now anyone who isn't exceptionally wealthy or isn't living with their parents, cant afford to own anything.

na , when khomeini doubled the population, they needed to prepare the country for so many people buying houses 20 years on, but again, they dont know how to run a country

Dude, in Iran 98% of real estate is private. Large apartment buildings all over Tehran are empty and no one can afford to buy them because the real estate developers refuse to let the free market do what it needs to do and bring the price down.

your not getting the point

the sudden skyrocket of demand for housing has caused all the inflation and increase in prices in the first place--> which stems to the wrong policies of the authorities

Unite Mass Housing Complex in Shiraz

They look like expensive executive apartments but they are social housing for famillies.
