I can't remember if we have one of these already. And if we have... Why has it been allowed to fall off the front page?

anyhoo... Here's a sight to warm the cockles of any Fox's heart ;)

We're not having this pointless argument again, are we?

Let's just stick to the facts:

1) We're not bigger than you. You are considerably richer than us right now with your Premier League billions and you've got bigger Premier League crowds too.

2) We remain an extraordinary club and you remain an unremarkable club.

We all know that Forest have won more than Leicester, we all know that The City Ground is a unique, universally loved slice of footballing history and The Walkers is well its not much really is it.. However the most pressing issue is who's got the best hair, Stuart Pearce or Steve Claridge.. Personally i'd go for Claridge's, so that's 2-1 to Forest..

Is there some kind of record for longest stay in (old)Division 2/Football League by a former (old)Division 1/Premier League club that Forest are trying to break?

See! You are trying to beat the record for the longest continuous (forgot to add that last time) stay in the (old)2nd Division/Football League by a former (old) 1st Division/Premier League club.

Really hard to call the Leicester position with FFP at the moment? The club have consistently released statements about their confidence in complying with FFP.

In fact the club were moaning about not being able to sign as many new players as they wanted last season, because of FFP. Yet we went on to win the League.

It was probably that transfer restriction and the need to keep costs down this summer; which have left us with a weaker Premier League squad that we might have had.

The expectation is that equity was injected at Burnley, so they should have a low fine, but Leicester's owners also injected equity and effectively wiped out the clubs debt, reduced the wage bill, cancelled loan interest payments and purchased the stadium to eliminate the clubs mortgage.

If we fail, a sizeable sum of the free Premier League TV money goes to charity anyway...

http://www.football-league.co.uk/ne...50000-sky-bet-transfer-fund-draw-2145896.aspx

Ten fans are in with the chance of winning a £250,000 prize for their Football League club to spend in the January transfer window when the Sky Bet Transfer Fund draw takes place tomorrow.

The 10 fans and their clubs are:

J Spurr (Huddersfield Town)
Tony Richards (Fulham)
Christopher Goodwin (Cardiff City)
Brenda Wall (Leeds United)
Jason Woods (Southend United)
Jay Dave (Watford)
Shaun Lander (Nottingham Forest)
Jason Worth (Exeter City)
Matthew Peat (Wigan Athletic)
Tom Howe (Leeds United)
... If Forest win surely they won't be allowed to use it???

Latest on the new Riders venue:
Work is set to begin on the decontamination of a former gas works which will be the site of a new basketball arena in Leicester.

The £4.5m Leicester Community Sports Arena on Charter Street will be the new home of the Leicester Riders.

The Environment Agency approved plans for the clean-up in December and work on the site will begin on Monday.

The team's director Kevin Routledge said the 2,000-seat arena should be completed by the end of the year.

Cup champions
"The decontamination work will take about eight weeks and will be completed by a specialist contractor, but we hope to start the foundation work in early March," he said.

"Working on brown field sites involves a number of agencies, particularly as we are located on the Grand Union Canal, and the most thorough examination of all options have been considered."

The Riders are currently fourth in the British Basketball League and have won the BBL Cup for the past two years.

The arena, which will also have a fitness suite, classrooms, offices, bar and café, is backed by the Riders as well as Leicester City Council and Leicester College.

It will also be home to the Leicester Cobras Wheelchair Basketball Team and a multi-use sports venue for the college and the community.

Parking for events at the arena will be provided on site and several other nearby locations, including the college.

The Riders currently play their homes games at De Montfort University.
