Isn't the airbridge mandatory?, In Mactan it is not unless there is a malfunction;kapoy gyud ning procedure nga saka kanaog, unsaon na lang ang mga seniors or unhealthy nga mag pa check-up sa Manila, samot na hinoon ang sakit!

kinsa ilang gihulat kaha diha ?

PAL takes delivery of new Boeing 777

InterAksyon.com means BUSINESS

MANILA - Philippine Airlines (PAL) on Thursday said it took delivery of a brand new Boeing 777 ahead of the airline's route expansion to Asia, Australia and the Middle East.

In a statement, PAL said the arrival of its fifth Boeing 777-300ER will bring its fleet to 45.

The airline said the long range Boeing 777-300ER's fuel efficiency is perfect for its long-haul flights to Canada as well as regional flights to Hong Kong and China.

Earlier, PAL said it will fly to Darwin, Brisbane and Perth (Australia) on June 1; Abu Dhabi and Dubai (United Arab Emirates), October 1 and November 1; Doha (Qatar), November 1; and Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam (Saudi Arabia), December 1. PAL will also fly to Guangzhou (China) on June 2.

Early this month, PAL started direct flights from Manila to Kuala Lumpur.

The PAL board recently approved the acquisition of additional A340-300 long-range aircraft in preparation for its long-haul flights to Europe.

On top of this, the airline will acquire eight A330-300s and eight A320s, which are scheduled for delivery in October.

In the first nine months ending December, PAL reported revenues of P55.67 billion, 2.4 percent higher than a year ago. The flag carrier however incurred a loss of P3.49 billion as of December last year, an improvement of four percent from P3.63 billion the previous year.

Good thing PALex has kept its Ozamiz flights. They have shut down totally in Pagadian, and so as other flights in Legazpi, Iloilo, Kalibo, Davao, Gensan and Surigao.
