I put it here, because the majority of the population in Southeastern Turkey is Kurdish... and that mosque is more related with the Kurds, and the Assyrians (when it was a church)...
but, of course... I know that it belongs to Turkey

just like Tatarstan and Chechnya belong to Russia

Turkey was and is and will be multi cultural. But this changes nothing on the fact, that this is Turkey. There are no regions like Kurdistan, Süryanistan, Lazistan, Armeniastan, ...

what a snake is this? He says "don't talk politics" but what he does is just a political provokation and shows a Turkish city as a part of a non-exist country

Mexicans were in California before Americans as well and it was Mexican territory, even the name California is Mexican.
Point is you're putting pictures belongs to another country and you're calling it a name with non-existing country, do you understand how stupid is that?
I wouldn't like to ruin your thread but I will let mods know if you don't correct it by yourself.

yes, it is really nice, I think that it is the nicest mosque that I posted

but, it is sooo modern... Russians destroyed the original Tatar mosque of Qolsharif 5 centuries ago...

the current Qolsharif mosque was built during the current decade

If you said " a Kurdish mosque in Diyarbakir, Turkey" , nobody would offended or jumped here.

Tatarstan (Republic of Tatarstan) and Chechnya (Chechen Republic) are federated states within the Russian Federation.

In Turkey there is not and never has been any place formally or informally called Kurdistan.

Do you get the difference?

And no, that building is not more related to Kurds, it is related to Turkish citizens, be they ethnically Turk, Kurd, Arab, Assyrian or whatever.
