Well Said!
But I'd like to add that we obey the posted speed limits not for the speeding ticket and points deducted or for the fine you have to pay, rather because it is not safe. Most people cannot drive as well as they think. Roads are tested and given a speed limit that can be driven safely at. A couple of miles over is usually not a problem. I could never understand why and how people speed like idiots and find that they made some tree their new best friend if they lived thru it and were lucky. Personally, I like to think that you wanna make love to your significant other and not a pole or a tree or someone else's steering wheel. And lastly, no texting while you are driving! It is dangerous and even if you think you are a good driver, guess what? The other driver or drivers might not be. And if your mind is on texting.....God help us all!

Some really impressive shots here of Houston. Love the Amli Memorial Heights photo at the end. Beautiful neighborhood it looks like!

The Pipe Corner of the South; Atlanta, GA Neon Sign

The Pipe Corner of the South in Atlanta at Forsyth and Walton Sts. closed down in the early 1990s. The sign had neon tubes on it that represented smoke rings. If you can, picture it with the rings, it was a striking sign. The B/W photo here shows the rings but from several feet away. Click on the link below to see the older photo I couldn't upload here from the 1950s. Lastly, if you look closely, the holes all have the same diameter. Thus, these are not bullet holes.

Established in the year 1733, Savannah is the oldest city in Georgia and the location of one of the largest National Historic Landmark districts in the United States. This eccentric Southern city is filled with Old World glamour and romance, culture, and entertainment. Savannah's stunning architecture, 21 historic squares and Low Country landscape make the city a top travel destination. [Jorge Molina]

Images around Lynchburg after the great Winter 2018 freeze

Got out yesterday morning (1-7-2018) and took these photos around downtown Lynchburg after several days of below freezing conditions which got down to 0 degrees. Pretty wild!!
