Thanks for continuing to post such great photos, desertpunk. One small quibble: the 1908 suffragettes photo may have been taken at City Hall rather than Union Square. At least that's the way it looks to me.

Funny, from this vantage point Penn Station doesn't look all that spectacular. But I guess inside it was, maybe towards the back where it looks like it my have had a large vaulted room.

It looked the best in 1932 in my opinion.

Yeah, the exterior was somewhat clunky but the architect intended the interior spaces to mimic the Roman Baths of Caracalla.
