Totally agree with you Iluminat. Koszyki is a missed opportunity to have a more up-market food market in Warsaw- as it was announced in the media.

Work on Polna 40 that when finished will mend another corner in Warsaw is nearing top off. As well works on the adjoining kamienice continues with some evident progress:







you can see the truncated ends of kamienice on the right when a new new street was cut through post war

now that there is a more culture/heritage and patriotism-minded government, maybe the chances of this reconstruction happening are a little improved. I like it very much, although I wouldn't mind if they added a roof-level or attic floor, but not as modern as Europejski Hotel. This would complete the reconstruction of the main historic precinct of old Warsaw finally.
