And to complete the comparison between China and the third hub of world economic power:

Here's all European (EU) supertalls completed (with completion year), U/C, Proposed (some stale), or Active Visions:
Barcelona, Barcelona (Highly Unlikely)
London, The Pinnacle
London, The Shard 2012
Paris, Hermitage Plaza I
Paris, Hermitage Plaza II

5 Supertalls Total

Here's all Russian (it's a Security Council member after all) supertalls completed (with completion year), U/C, Proposed (some stale), or Active Visions:
Grozny, Ahmat Tower
Grozny, Chechen National Tower
Moscow, City of Capitals 2009
Moscow, Eurasia Tower 2013
Moscow, Federation Tower
Moscow, Mercury City Tower 2013
Moscow, Oko Tower
Saint Petersburg, Lakhta Center

8 Supertalls Total

So Russia will have ~1/3 of Wuhan alone :O

Yes please when i am going thru the 200m skyscraper section i also try to add the buildings to the ssp diagrams as good as i can, but proposals i knew before i started would be a lost cause so i only went with uc buildings

A 200m+ list would include up to 1000 towers if we add every known built, u/c, prep and approved tower. It'll take me several weeks

If we even add proposals and reserved plots it'll be around 1500 I think. But that's unfeasible to me, I couldn't track every 200m proposal.

I think you can remove The Pinnacle, since it is scaled down from 307 to 288 metres.

What the point of having individual threads for towers if your just going to bunch them all here? Shouldn't be a sticky either.

because a compilation makes it far easier to keep an eye on these 300+ projects. makes everything easier basically.

instead of one for every country, someone may make one, that is about the world excluding china, and that list may not be much longer than this one actually, considering if you search for built and U/C buildings on SSP you will find that 107 / 208 buildings are from china (the data is not perfect, but it gives the point across even if the real data differs a bit it still will be ~50%). that is more than half with explains the special treatment of china in this case. as someone who also works on a database (i am editor at SSP), i am extremely greatful for lists like this or the one ZZ-II made. it gives you a quick overview and makes it really easy to with just a few hours invested review hundrets of projects and correct old, incorrect data and add buildings you may have missed beforehand. whether these lists should be stickied or not or should be in this section of the board or in the skyscraper section of the world forums certainly is to be decided by the admins. i for once think that one stickied thread doesn't do any harm since we do not have many stickied threads in this section. if z0rg grows tired of updating the list again one day it can still be unstickied to a later point of time anyways.
