thats an older photo, you can only see cherry blossom in the spring time, it'd be all gone by april.

our metro system is basically the LRT like the C trains in Calgary but ours runs mostly on the elevated glide way and underground.

I understand this is a photo thread, but I didn't really want to start a new thread to say, " Ive noticed there are more & more large towers proposed, prepped, & started right now then any point in B.C.'s history.

you are right, there are many proposals and many of them are office buildings but their height still disappoint me.

But a busy construction scene is a good bellweather of the health of a city's economy!

sure I agree totally but in term of the city skyline, all those proposals won't do a thing to improve it and hopefully there will be one true skyscraper will be constructed somewhere in the "suburbs".

True. Would be great to see a supertall, as it would really stand out.

Want to know what Utica, NY and Vancouver, BC have in common? The Utica Comets are the feeder team for the Canucks.

2000-2001 Kansas City Blades IHL
2001-2011 Manitoba Moose AHL
2011-2013 Chicago Wolves AHL
2013-2014 Utica Comets AHL

That's one thing that's interesting about the AHL, although the Rochester Americans have been with the Sabres on and off since their founding in 1956.

It might be that in a couple years my above post will be outdated!
