IN TARLAC
Cojuangco dad, son proclaimed winners By Ding Cervantes May 16, 2013 CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - The Tarlac provincial board of canvassers has proclaimed Enrique Cojuangco Sr. and his son Enrique Cojuangco Jr. as the duly elected first district representative and vice governor of Tarlac, respectively. Both were unopposed in the last polls. After the proclamation Tuesday night, the board adjourned pending the transmission of election results from remaining municipalities. The Philippine Information Agency (PIA) said the board was set to resume at 8 a.m. Wednesday but failed to do so due to the failure of several towns to transmit results of the elections in their areas due to defective CF cards. Camiling, Capas, Tarlac City, Concepcion, Gerona, La Paz, Pura, Ramos, San Jose, and Victoria still had to transmit their data as of noontime.
