東京春旅行25平成- Tokyo Spring Trip 2013

I spent five days in Tokyo, and I had great time. Think that the city is amazignly dense and crowded, yet very organized.

My everyday starting point was from Yoga Station on the Den En toshi Line, it's about 15 min walk from where I was spending my nights. I was lucky to be hosted by my Brazilian friend. That saved me a lot of money.

So it takes about 10 minutes to arrive to Shibuya, from there I start my journey to different parts of the city.

Anyways, I will post my photos chronically and in order so followers can track and understand the trip much better.

As always, comments are always welcomed. This thread is for you, not for me .

The thread will be updated regularly. Check back for more photos and stories.

So, I arrived to shibuya by dusk, coming all the way from Yokohama.

And here is the full story:

PS: all the photos are not processed, very raw.

DAY 1

SHIBUYA HARAJUKU SHINJUKU

SHIBUYA:

I went to Shibuya Hikarie. Not as much impressive as I was thinking. The interior was just okay. The exterior had some flaws. All in all, an average building tower.

Then I headed to Iidabashi to celebrate the birthday of a friend. Couldn't take much photos that night. But I think next days have much more to offer. Stay tuned .

Thanks.

DAY 2: SHIODOME TORANOMON MARUNOUCHI/OTEMACHI KYOBASHI NIHONBASHI GINZA HARUMI TOKYO TOWER

SHIODOME

In the early morning of the second day, I took a train from Yoga Station to Shibuya Station where I can change trains and proceed to my next target.

And so I decided to take a JR train bound for Shimbashi. Shimbashi means that I was heading to the new financial center of Shiodome.

And without further a do, here is the full visual story:

Shimbashi JR Station (this one will be redeveloped sooner or later):

At street level it gets even more exciting. Very clean, organized, futuristic... you name it!

Royal Park Tower is only 172 meters. But at street level it looks immensely tall. It's like I'm looking at a 220 m + building.

Today's update starts from post 5.

In the next batch you'll see views from the top of Dentsu Building, and some more shots of Shiodome district. Stay tuned.

Thanks a lot man.
Indeed, they were busy as hell. But well now it's more relaxed and the mood is there . I think I'll keep on updating on a regular basis up from now, hopefully.

And so we will continue. I went to the 47th floor of Dentsu Building. There is a 180 degree free observatory.
The views from the top are the following:

Harumi and Tsukiji areas

After spending more than 3 hours in Shiodome, it was the time to leave. Great impressions. I hope you enjoyed the photos from this futuristic district .

My next destination was Toranomon. Yes, I was eager to see the new tallest building in Tokyo, Toranomon Hills.

The next posts will cover Toranomon hills and Kasumigaseki. Stay Tuned

Today's post starts from post 9.
