This was a very unsuccessful office building, I don't know why, but it never attracted tenants (only a few).

The first 15 Floors are for parking.

In 2006 it was converted into condominiums.

im pretty sure it didnt draw tenants because the floor plans were horrible. also, its on the other side of the freeway, so maybe that hindered it as well.

Hm, I wonder how the plans were, being that we have the Wells Fargo Center with a similar design. Triangular-somewhat-shape.

Wells Fargo Plaza; both towers are trapezoids. 1100 Wilshire is a triangle. And triangular office towers generally don't do well to the lack of space. Very hard to have a large square core in a triangular building. It would reduce the amount of space.

I don't know if the difference is terrible apparent, it would seem to me that trapezoid spaces are harder to assemble into office space.

this is a floor plan with its present residential configuration. As you can see, it fails as an office due to it's awkward shape and small rentable space. It works as residences but that's pretty much it.
