Tom Porta "La nube purpurea"

Nel 1901 Matthew Phipps Shiel scrive un libro sconvolgente e bellissimo: vede un mondo avvelenato dove ogni forma di vita viene annientata da una nuvola letale, una misteriosa nube purpurea.
Rimangono le cittā, vuoti simulacri senza vita come immense lapidi di un cimitero globale

Che romanzo, uno dei miei preferiti! Non so come sia finito nella mia libreria, l'ho letto per caso e l'ho trovato profondamente affascinante

I dipinti che hai postato rispecchiano in modo molto fedele l'immagine che ci si costruisce in mente...

Molto belli anche i quadri del secondo pittore che hai postato, che non conosco, in particolare l'ultimo taglio della torre Velasca e la Ca' Brutta.
