Croatia

Sunset is Zadar often delights, but the one tonight in combination with famous Royal Clipper was right on target:

Spectacular end of the day on Saturday from Visočica (1619m) on Velebit range, and sunset through the thin veil of rain, before the stormy night and passage of the cold front:

Croatia

One of the main reasons for going to the mountains is the extension of the horizons and distant views, and this Saturday's sunset offered one really distant yet familiar view from different angle. From the Dinara range in the Troglav area view spread across the Adriatic Sea to the Corno Grande (2912m), highest peak of the Italian Apennines, which was quite incredible 300 kilometers away, whose anyway elegant peak was bit extended by the refraction in the atmosphere. Two peaks left of Corno Grande are Monte Camicia and Monte Prena. In front is the ridge of Svilaja mountain in the Dalmatian interior
