Yes. The skyine of Kolkata is second to Mumbai in the country
The Emporis Standards Committee defines a high-rise building as "a multi-storey structure between 35–100 metres tall, or a building of unknown height from 12–39 floors" and a skyscraper as "a multi-storey building whose architectural height is at least 100 metres."

Going by this standards, there are nearly 450 existing highrises and another 150 u/c in Kolkata with few of them falling under 'skyscraper' category.
The current tallest in the city is South City Towers @ 117 metres (G + 35)

Regarding Midrises, there are more than couple of thousands.
