My first attempt at doing seat lettering. BTFC stands for Bergen Town Football Club, a fictional team.

Maybe some of you remember me wining about a snake stadium a long time ago.
It was some powerpoint drawing and it looked more or less like this

Now I have been messing around with SketchUp and I can get it this far.

The red color should be the stands and the light blue color should be the VIP boxes. No it is still very basic, my main problem is that I cannot fill up the corners with color. Even wurse it is very hard the get the corners right when they are round. This any one have some tips?

I remember that stadium skaP187, I actually made like a snake shaped facade, but i lost it moving to my new computer. Just make sure you use triangulation to form the stand, or rectangles. Rectangles would work ok as it would allow you to control the height of each stand, something you need to do. Just make one end of the rectangle longer and you should get it to curve nicely.

@meloaminac, please stop the spamming, everyone knows about Ebay and Paypal, you need not advertise them.

Thanks pompeyfan, the drawing was just a work out of the most simplest form of the snakestadium. As drawing is not my strongest point, at this moment I am allready glad that I can more or less see how it would look like, specialy the ´diffecult corner.
Now I am going to see how I can stretch that corner as far as I can, without making the field to small. That way the steepness of the slope should be as small as possible.
Later I might have some more questions, but filling in the corners will be a problem I guess then. Maybe copping an image to photoshop and filling the corners in there would be a simple solution?

Edit, thanks by the way for making that snake shaped facade,

Nice idea, might be something for the Gelredome in Arnhem, if my club would ever need the extra cap again.

Is there a reference value for how many entrances there should be for a certain amount of people in a modern stadium (e.g. 1 entrance per 1000 people).
I'm thinking of only having one row of entrances in the 2nd tier, which would make things easier for the exterior design.

It is recommended an entrance between 20 seats, and 20 files.
Your stadium is excellent!

Thats a fantastic looking stadium lpioe! Its so nice to see stadiums that are not bowls.

I myself is working on a single stand. Instead of creating an entire stadium Im focusing on making this stand as detailed and realistic as possible. Im going to post a few pics later tonight.

My teams match was called off today with a frozen pitch so to stop the boredom of an empty Saturday afternoon I created this:

Some of you might know where I got the 'inspiration' from
