It wasn't too bad. I would say the only unsafe part is if you attempt to climb up to the top of the elevator. 30 feet of stairs were removed by the city of Buffalo in each of the joe carts after 2 kids fell to their death in 1976. There is one previous SSC forumer that actually did climb to the top to take pictures, I don't know if he's still active or not. Other than that, it's not too bad, a lot of overgrown weeds and just watch yourself. I've been getting into a lot of urban exploring lately. I've gotten into at least 5 or 6 buildings in Buffalo over the last month. There's no roadway to the island the silo is on, only railroad tracks.

Cool!! We used to have a member who was a whiz at getting into deserted buildings; I can't remember his name. He posted a lot of photos but sadly we've not heard from him in ages.
Great photo!

No, I mean the last time you took a pic of yourself and the dog, you were on that same bike! Of course, I wouldn't take my dog on a fast motorcycle ride...

With the right equipment, a single person can carry a fridge up stairs. I don't think the server containers are particularly heavy anyway.

It's actually quite tricky because when you're moving a fridge on one of those, you don't notice the weight very much, and there is a risk of dropping it if you overestimate its centre of gravity. We lost a fridge at work because of a staff member making that mistake, he thought he was able to let go of it but it kept going and landed on its front.

Yes, that is a lot of bulk to balance on a small lifting device like that. I can see things toppling over quite easily.
