There are 2 NY teams, now. Red Bulls posting at 19k, now, as they enjoy their 4 yo stadium and a local rival.

We'll see if NYCFC can sustain their high numbers once/if they get a stadium of their own.

Been a couple years win a Toronto averaged 20k+ for the season so hopefully the new digs will help them recover. Also hope that figure wasn't down to the local rivalry.

Wonder why BC was so low?

I went to the Toronto home opener and a good 10% of the crowd were from Hamilton. The atmosphere was terrific and a massive improvement over anything they've had in decades. It will take a long time to fix a ship that's been slowing sinking for 40 years but the early signs are encouraging.

There were tons of people at the tailgate, a great buzz in and around the stadium, and BMO Field is a fun place to watch football. It's far too early to tell if this is the beginning of a long term resurgence but I left quite optimistic about the future of the Argonauts. That's something I've not been able to say in over 20 years.

BC suffers from the same issues as Toronto and it's never struck me as a place with a good football culture. They'd be wise to invest in the game day experience at Lions games (tailgating), smarter marketing, and could do with a provincial rival.

Celtic are involved in every domestic cup and European attendance record held in Scotland.

SPL figures were 11.5% up last year on previous, http://www.european-football-statist...ttn/avesco.htm the perceived decline at Rangers liquidation hit only Celtic due to lack of competition and a downgrading of management and team as a consequence. New investment in top players and , more importantly, top manager has seen a sharp increase in season ticket sales to pre recession figures. Prior to this, and despite new club Rangers entering top league, sales were initially well down on last year.

Overall a healthy future for the game in Scotland

A lot of apathy right now..so/so team, not a good home record lately
Crowd for the Thursday game was just under 19K even after a 2 - 0 start so lots of work to do for the marketing team

FC Cincinnati drew in 35,061 people to it's match against Crystal Palace on Saturday. The crowd was magnificent!

Not average attendance, but I have been working on this chart for awhile. I've been trying to find the highest attended Gridiron football game in every country:
