Hermitage of St. Sava | Radočelo mountain, Serbia
Hermitage of the Holy Basin is located on the slopes of Mount Radočelo (highest peak 1643 m above sea level), located some 12 kilometers from the monastery Studenica.
Hermitage is a walled cave complex in the vertical rocky cliff, reached at the narrow wooden bridge close together along the cliff. Next to the hermitage is the church of the 12th Pridvorica century. dedicated to Sv. George. In addition to the hermitage, which is one of the most interesting cave-monasteries in Serbia, worth a go, and the strangeness of the place - a small clearing in front of the church Pridvorice on the edge of a deep ravine, offers a fabulous view of the surrounding mountains, valleys, villages and stenovice cliff ...
