Could we theme it? Put in a couple of Korean restaurants and call it "Little Pyongyang"?

It's towering over the RNA Showgrounds, that's for sure! From the weekend before last:

We should also spare a thought for this guy. We may have to look at it, but he has it worse! That said, it's his own stupid fault for being too greedy and not selling up when he had the chance!

I say thank god for that guy! At least it opens up the possiblity of a developer other than Metro, buying it up, building something nice and tall, and covering up the ass of Madison Heights.

It reminds me of the movie UP... where the old guy refuses to sell to the developers... until they get him for harassment

Also, I would imagine those apartments facing that house would be hard to sell. Once that house is developed, imagine how dark and cold those apartments would be.

Almost reminds me of some of the public housing towers we have here in Melbourne.

From that angle once its painted it will look OK. Its the northeast aspect that sucks.
I guess this building will serve as a catalyst for other high rise nearby, thus hiding its less than appealing side.
Bowen Hills Station so deserves to have a "Toowong Village" type development over the tracks.
