Apparently it's the Golden Vision's House, he's not here much these days spends all his time exploring and detailing rural West Lancs apparently he left his coal fire on.

'Casey's' was once know as 'McManus's' and sold seafood along with beer, wine and spirits. Their Dungeness Crab, oysters and Dublin Bay mussels , served with mini-Hovis bread, where brilliant.

Gah...thats a great pub that...oldest in Lancashire. Great inside and a great place to take visitors too. Proper country pub. Hope they fix it up sson. Its lucky that the whole thing didnt go up.

Definitely the oldest in Merseyside but also the oldest in the old county of Lancashire too.

Would it also be the oldest pub in the LCR? I have no idea about pubs in Halton, although I have frequented a few...

Hi,
I have recently discovered that according to the Alltheviews website Neon Jamom is the best pub in Liverpool! Totally disagree! Despite Michelin awards, it offers just standard service and plain food. Would recommend Tap & Bottles instead.
