Thanks for the pictures.

What I don't understand is why the city approved this in a way that already prevents expanding the road to two lanes in each direction. The future traffic in the area will certainly warrant it.

E-B approved in Giv'atayim: Over 500 New Apartments to Be Added.

The project will see the evacuation of 6 buildings with 168 apartments, and about 700 apartments will be built in their place.

with hamatmid they have a point the area is narrow streets and the towers will be very close to other buildings
but this whole area will be vb.

Im sure that you won't agree to 30 storories tower just next to your house. Specially if you live on narrow street with no parking.
And it have nothing to do with residential prices when you talk abotu Tel Aviv. The pricers are still crazy and building huge towers won't help.

I would, especially when the existing parking spots are on the streets, while you can goad the developers of the new buildings to provide free underground parking to nearby smaller buildings instead of facing a lengthy lawsuit for loss of land value. I think this has actually been done in previous E-B projects.
