I know this message board has seen a lot of annoying arguments over roofs but I find it interesting the prevalence of roofs in early 19th century american baseball stadiums. The general architecture and the use of roofs make these stadiums remarkably similar to early 20th century english soccer stadiums.

![]() Yes they do look very simpler to each other alot of English soccer stadiums at that time were also used for british baseball/baseball. So its easy for them to have the same design. plus architecture at that time was very basic

The city of Rosemont, IL built a nice little ballpark for the Chicago Bandits of National Pro Fastpitch. This is the first facility in the U.S. built especially for a women's professional softball team. It's called The Ballpark at Rosemont:

I just read that Germany will be hosting a World Baseball Classic game next year and that they have a baseball league. Does anyone have any pictures of German baseball stadiums?
