I suspect thosee white commies are affordable houses... but of coz for foreigners, or Malaysians who keep dollars in their accounts, not in ringgits... my bet cheapest will be around rm700k for a 600sf studio

What affordable housing? Do you know how expensive is it to reclaim land?

Not too sure about Singapore though as your coastline are quite deep as well as the need to import sands.

Over here, the cost to reclaim land are far far cheaper from the cost to bought the land ranging from 1/3 to 1/5 the prices.

In Melaka they just build 2 storey shophouses on reclaimed land. I guess it must be pretty cheap.

Reclaiming land is not expensive. Not funny coz we could have LRT, tunnel, cable car and all from it. Why? The price of reclamation land is actually damn expensive. Another factors are location and policy, its proximity to Singapore gateway and international zone policy
