^^whoa! Opinion COMPLETELY changed on this. Its golden!!! :0

@celatus

Believe it or not, there are towers with perfect glass that show no visible wavy effect- the shard comes to mind.

I like the wavy effect in this though- at night it gives a beautiful rippling effect...

As this picture shows there is no wavy effect on the shards glass- the picture you show is deceiving, it shows NO waving on individual panels, just a 'fragmented reflection' effect from the angle of the multiple panels of glass. If you look at the reflection on each panel of the shards glass it is perfect- zero wave effect. I can can vouch for this, as I've seen it countless times. If you look at mercury's cladding each panel shows a wavy effect- while some might not like this, it was never an issue for me. My main problem with mercury city tower was it's colour, and turns out I kinda like it (very much so at night). Millions has been spent on the shard's glass.

I just drove through Knoxville Tennessee and saw a gold/copper 'thing'. Looked straight out of the 70's!

Tack o rama.

Mercury City looks good at certain times of day/night. I did not like the idea of something so drastically different to the other buildings in the CBD at first, now I think it was a good idea! Add 20 more 'unique' supertalls and it would be the most interesting skyline in the world.
