I don't know if it's the right place to ask but, how is the public transport system in Beirut. Do you consider it good?

It's terrible!
There are the big government buses, but unless you have experience, I don't think anyone really knows the lines and where they stop.

There is what we call "service" which is a shared taxi. There's everywhere, you just need to stop them and argue with them on the location/price; the price is ~ $1.5

And that's mainly it

But other than that it's a beautiful and vibrant city!

So, if i decide to spend to months in Beirut do you recomend me this taxi service? It's really this cheap? $1,5 is the price of a one way bus trip here in the city I live, and taxis are much (reaaaaally much ) more expensive than this.

These are all great pics. But I really wish to see more pics of places like Badaro, Furn esshebbek, Horsh Beirut, el Mat7af, Mar Elias, Cola, Ghobeiry etc. These are all areas that have changed so much, but there are hardly any pics documenting their change and how they look today. And it is a shame that our focus is always on what Solidere has done.
