wow thats about 130m above sea level. so high. in compariosn to Aussie cities. most of our cap cities range from 2m-40m above sea.Canberra our nations capital is 600m above sea level.but has no tall bldgs.
good news about Fosters tower! 2000ft high is double the height of Sydney tower.lol
Not yet, but maybe something will hapen later today. Anyway, preparations on the site are already going, developers town is set and workers are currently digging something near the perimeter.
I doubt it. If they were so close to starting, wouldn't they at least pretend to start on the holiday like they planned? The fact that they were unable to make the holiday start suggests to me that there might be a longer delay.
Information about 12 June was dated by the mid march. Lately in late April there was some rumors that begin of construction was postponed to September.
Shalva Chigirinsky and Norman Foster themself that time were in Saint Petersburg. On 9 June they have presented a project of tall skyscraper in Khanty-Mansisk and on 11 June they have participated on the groundbreakings ceremony of the New Holland Island redevelopment project.
RBC has published an article about Russia Tower today with a headline - "Russia Tower has false-started".
The article confirms that construction will begin in September. It's also says that the height is going to be 612 meters with 130 floors (not sure if all floors are meant to be overground).
