Yeah, for nostalgic sake, it's kind of sad. But it's great because you can find so much online, especially when it comes to films not yet released on home video (or DVD rather) in Australia.

A similar thing happened with Kim's Video in New York. Famed record/video rental store specialised in hard to find titles, recently closed down after many years.

There was recognition at least back then that bigger complexes were the way of the future. Cinema complexes like that today are now regarded as "small".
