It's not a school, it's a daycare. They have it on Kennedy so Mom and Dad don't have to detour the SUV on the way to work in Downtown.

Let's pray they won't get a School Zone that will slow Kennedy down to more of a crawl.
No way in hell they are providing their own on-site queuing, which means Kennedy will already be a parking lot in both directions near this place in the morning and afternoon.

We sent our kid to the one in Dunwoody, and there aren't huge queuing issues. At any given time maybe there were ten cars dropping off or picking up and it was a pretty popular franchise location. But its not a constantly moving line, its park and walk your kid in or out. It was a nice school for $250 a week, but an atrocious use of space along Kennedy.

The day care i dealt with in both st pete and sarasota were both bad with traffic. The one i used in brandon had no problems but it was also on a huge site with a setback typical of an exurban location.

They have demolished that ugly ass vacant building/warehouse directly west of Starbucks. Not sure if anything is planned there or not, but I wouldn't be surprised if a bank is going to be built there.
