Tampa Bay Area Master Development List - (updated 03/25/17)

Welcome to the Tampa Bay Area Development Master List. This list contains all active developments for Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. We may also have a list for anything going on in our northern counties should things pick up there.

FloridaFuture and Jasonhouse will be keeping the lists updated, so please let either of them know if there is something that we're missing or needs updating.

I think the Laser Spine Institute Westshore project should go on here as well.

Also, you have the hotel being built on Lois just North of Varela and the huge vacant lot across from the Lois hotel U/C has something proposed on it (it's somewhere in the Westshore thread).

And it's missing "Grady Square", the 557 unit, 4 story apartment complex (approved) by the Richman Group on the old Without Walls property at Boy Scout and Grady.

Excuse the quality, it's a scan.

They are also marketing an out parcel, which is zoned for commercial.

Oh and Richman Group's "The Aurora" needs updated too...

351 Rental Apartments

Construction beginning early 2015

Not exactly the sort of inviting project we're looking for downtown though...

By the way to everyone...

I'm of the opinion that when someone takes the time to build these lists for the group here, pretty much everyone should at least be clicking the "thumbs up" to say thanks, if not joining in to help complete the list. I know from extensive personal experience, that crap takes time. A little recognition or help is always appreciated by the creator.

(The Aurora)

Ugh, that's a project much more suited for the Heights than DT. And that fact that it has gone from 7 floors to 5 floors makes it even worse.

Absolutely agreed. Please, please, please everyone, at least a thank you. Even my original update took a lot of time.

Just one small note...

The rendering under NoHo Flats is actually the original SoHo Flats project. NoHo Flats is all done.

^Ok I fixed it.

Walt, I guess just copy and paste my list into your first post. Then I'll clear out my first post so its not so much to scroll through.

Or I can maintain the list if my post becomes the first post.

Still wish Vinik snatched this up. Said construction was supposed to start by the end of the year, last bit of hope something doesn't pan out. Thought the Vinik development might be good for the sake of driving up prices (such as discussed about the flour mill) where cheap apartments won't even make it, but looks like we have another joining the ranks. This might not be the worst I've seen, but then again it is happening in a time when we feel that we are better than this, unlike a pierhouse where there was still a little more uncertainty in the market.
