By the looks of it they have started on the office tower. It's not too far behind the hotel tower in the scheme of things.

Doesn't it sort of make sense to build them all at once given that, well. there's not exactly going to be a lot of serenity till it's all finished?

They've already stated that they had decided to go ahead with the office tower because of the wind factor........ages ago.

My understanding was that they couldn't proceed past what they've already done re the office tower because no builder has yet been decided on. I thought that there was a tender process for this and that the winner had not been announced. If they have decided to proceed with the office tower, a builder must have been appointed?

Curvy blue shiny glass? Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Nice to see something that doesn't look like it was made from melted down beer bottles!

I just hope all the buildings have similar (as in classy) glass on'em. I also have a feeling that the resi core is still only about the height of the finished podium..........DAMN.

Leave it to me and I'll get a contract signed.....if that is the holdup.

Seeing all those people in tee shirts is killing me. Time to move back home I think.

I think this one is going to turn out real nice. Great photo update.

Agree, the resi tower is the hero of the dish.

Today, the resi core seems to have gone up a little more.

It could have gone up a bit. From the renders I have I think that the curved part on poles at W are about the height of the finished podium. From your pics Aussie it seems that what is the height of the resi framework (floors) are level with W podium's curved bit on the poles so here's hoping. That means that the core at present is certainly a little higher than need be just for lift to podium.

How many floors do you think would be involved in that resi framework and how many in the finished podium?

How could the resi core have gone up when they haven't even announced a builder for the resi and office towers
