The Hidden Town of Sungai Siput

The place where I grew up..

Sungai Siput, located between Kuala Kangsar and Ipoh is a quiet and charming little town. Being part of Kuala Kangsar district, Sg Siput is far lesser known by public than it's sister town. I always think in term of development, Sg Siput is on par with Kuala Kangsar the royal town.

by the way, whats the meaning of 'Sungai Siput (U)' ? the alphabet 'U' is actually stands for what?

i know right! can't believe this project is materialized so smoothly and turned out quite well also. If I get chance to take some inside pics of the hotel I'll post it here.

(U) is Utara(north). I believe there is Sungai Siput (S)(south) somewhere near Kampar(if I'm not mistaken).

i ask my uncle just now, he said sg siput selatan is somewhere near jeram town in kampar...

Sg Siput (U) and Sg Siput Selatan is far away from each other

yup, very far and they are in different district. Sg siput (U) is under Kuala Kangsar district and sg.siput selatan is in Kampar.

samy vellu's hometown..hehe..well..i think sungai siput have a good development..but the road looks so calm..so free...just a motor riding in the middle of the road..haha
