One of the most underrated albums (+ free 12 inch including the above song) of the 80s. Much better than their later stuff.

With Get Lucky it's nice to hear that late 70s discoey sound in the charts again, especially by established acts. It sounds like a Chic song, so I wasn't too surprised to see that Chic's Nile Rodgers was partly responsible for it.

Having said that, for Daft Punk's usual creative ways it sounds rather weak and ordinary.

For something more creative, prehaps you should have a look at the mashups of Get Lucky on YouTube...

What later stuff? They only made one album, the 1 to 10 single and then the tour bus went over the cliff.

Along with Simple minds (After new Gold Dream), the Eurthymics after the first album, and Ultravox (When John Foxx left) All on the same bus as it ran over Sir Cliff. And they all died and never made any more music ever.

A terrible thing to happen to music, just think of how much great music we lost

Well, I like especially singing right before the chorus.

And daft punk sounds typically daft punk, but that's what people have been listened to.

Been listening to Random Access Memories since Tuesday - many times over!

As a fan of Daft Punk, I didn't know what to make of it at first, as it truly is random! But I have come to the conclusion that this album could just be their best yet - it takes time for some of the tracks to grow on you, but listening from start to finish, it works, I don't know how, but it keeps you going back for more.

Sometimes it's not love at first listen, but love it I certainly do now!

While this may be a different direction, it was worth the wait.

Well, have been listening to the whole album of Daft Punk, I didn't expect that there are so many songs that sound better just "Get Lucky"

But seems funk prevails, and I like it much.
