States...which one do you hear the least about?

Which state do you hear the least about (either by other people or in the media)? I would say Wyoming or Montana. For its population, you don't hear very much about Wisconsin either.

You never hear much coming from Idaho for some reason. I always thought WI was pretty well covered for it's population. Maybe I'm wrong.

I don't hardly hear a damn thing about Maine. Kinda wierd. Wyoming too, but mostly Maine is the one I don't hear hardly ever mentioned.

I'd go with Nebraska, if it was on the list.

North Dakota, it has the least tourism and smallest Gross State Product of any U.S. state.

The only thing anyone might recognize North Dakota for is the movie Fargo, which was almost entirely set in the bordering state of Minnesota!

I'm going with Wyoming. At one point I forgot that it even existed.

Nebraska?
No way. Nebraska's got a lot going for it. Omaha is one of the fastest growing plains cities, Lincoln is a nice capital city, their college sports are always powerhouses. Granted, if Nebraska were only the western 2/3rds of the state, you probably wouldn't hear much.

Now that eweez mentioned it, Maine is probably my choice. I almost forgot it's there.

DELAWARE. I haven't heard Delaware mentioned on the news or read anything concerning Delaware.. ever, I think.

Definitely Maine. It's not that I have a problem with Maine, I just always seem to forget that it's kind of tucked up there beyond New Hampshire.

Think of it this way

Trying to salvage the pointlessness of this thread. Don't you think people are going to post a least mentioned state that is not their own and of course far away geographically-wise?

Not really. Even though I think Wyoming is the least known, I also think W. Virginia is the 2nd least known and WV is geographically close to Massachusetts.
