Railways in Mena

Post pictures of train travelling in your country.

I want begin with the Highspeed route Eskisehir-Ankara in Turkey which is 250 km long and part of the Istanbul-Ankara High Speed Route which will be opened in 2012.The rails are planned for a maximum speed of 350 km/h.

Do... historic railroads count? lol. If so, here is Lebanon's! hahaha. There are plans to renovate it and connect it with other railway lines in the Middle East...latest we have heard is new track is being laid, but that is it so far! So for now, its a little glimpse into what was a great railway network

It no longer exists, it was dismantled by the Saudis, guess they didn't need trains...

I like the Tel-Aviv Haifa rail and Adana-Mersin Line... I think something like that would work in Lebanon going north to south... dunno bout west to east though due to the massive mountain range

Btw, do any of the gulf countries still have their old railways (still running)? Or any new railways (excluding UAE)?
