Hi all I want to share something with you

Peruri 88, Jakarta, Indonesia. Jakarta is a crowded city that lacks greenery and living space. With this multi-tiered vertical city, the Peruri 88 will have apartments, hotels, offices, retail outlets, amphitheaters and roof parts that can accomodate sports and recreational activities.

The updated list should include Vincom Landmark 81 of Vietnam with the height of 460 metres.

"British architect Atkins has started work on a 460-metre-high skyscraper in Ho Chi Minh City, which is set to become the tallest building in Vietnam on completion.

Located on the banks of the Saigon River, the 81-storey mixed-use tower by local developers Vingroup will claim the title from the 345-metre Landmark 72 in Hanoi...."

Imperial towers in Mumbai at 254 metres is currently the highest skyscraper in India. Too small compared to other buildings worldwide.

The Chrysler Building looks beautiful even after over 80 years. How many of the modern buildings (ranked higher on the list) will stand the test of time?

No Canadian building in the top 100 is a bit shocking. We used to have the tallest buildings outside of New York and Chicago.

That's true, however Canada has three, First Canada Place Scottish Plaza and Canada Trust Tower in Toronto. No doubt Canada will have more in future. A bit like Australia in the 1880's Melbourne had second tallest in world and when completed was third in world. (See my avatar) Dopey Aussies demolished it in the sixties and put up a three or four story sixties monstrosity. Don't worry I'm one of those dopey Aussies. I think after that, the race was between the USA and Canada. Canada and USA still have a lot more scrapers coming.

I'm actually surprised so many shorter buildings made it onto the top 100. Like the Water Tower Place in Chicago.
