yeah, it is too slim.
but they have add another lines now. the green field on the middle is gone. and STILL not enough.
on most tollway you can see a long queue at the toll gate =(.

I reckon the tolls in Jakarta and other parts of Indonesia need to apply the electronic system like in sydney... cause it's so much mor convenient.. you dont have to stop.. just need to get the device which is basically free.. cause u just pay the deposit..

the new government should invest more money on infrastructure, particularly roads and power plants to help drive the economy Indonesia still lags behind its neighbours on infrastructure..

The approved one in Sumatera is the Medan - Binjai Toll Road. Also, the extension of BELMERA to the new Kuala Namu Airport as well as to Tebing Tinggi is now awaiting approval.

Sanhen, I think the highway in question is the Cililitan Interchange. You can see the interchange from inner city toll road to T. Priok, Bogor, and Cikampek. Also, the Jakarta Merak interchange is actually actually the highway entrance from Serpong / Cimone to Jakarta, BSD, and to Merak.

Hey there....nice pics sanhen! Highways in Indonesia are quite nicely done judging from these pics. But how does that CKG airport tollway get flooded like that? The highways around Jakarta are impressive, lots of two-wheelers there too, just like in India ;-). India is also developing it's highways and several tollways are coming up. Come have a look - http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=111665 Cheers.

Indonesia has quite long toll way.
I hope Thailand will build more since now we have only about 300 km of tollway.
