Here's just one prime example.

Queen's Place Twins quoted as 249m and 246m at front entrances now are 251m and 250m based on low points on towers.

251m - Latrobe Street Tower - 267.83m - 17m at Latrobe Street corner

250m - Queen Street Tower - 267.83m - 18.1m at rear A'Beckett Street corner

Dean, as you and others have mentioned, if we measure Aurora Melbourne Central from Little LaTrobe Street (as against LaTrobe Street) we get 286.32m RL - 15.5m giving us 270.82m.

311 Spencer and By the Gardens (308 Exhibition Street) would others worth looking at.

I got to admit I am uncomfortable, I know folks like PaPa Riddlz, Grollo & Dean have been trying to follow the Pedestrian Entrance rule since that is wording the CTBUH have published.

I'd be much happier if the CTBUH to put out an unequivocal statement, on their site, asserting that the lowest point on site is the ground (as against mandated pedestrian entrance). I can't help but feel, at the moment, that some parts of the CTBUH may think they pedestrian entrance rule applies whilst others at the CTBUH think the lowest point on site rule applies.

I also know that everyone is trying their best in this regards.

Don't know where you got that figure.

You emailed the architects back in Nov 2014 and got an answer of 15.5m. See this post:

Apologies to everyone else, this thread has totally been hijacked, not deliberately.

Correct, 270.82m when measured using the lowest-point-on-site formula.

268.5m when using the lowest pedestrian entrance formula.

Can we now return this thread to discussing the merits of the proposal at hand?

You can leave the definition of official height stuff in the 'Wet dreams about wanking spiders' file.

Thankyou and goodnight!
