Question to Atlanta folks on 96 Olympics
How was the MLB baseball games organized during the Olympics?
Was the schedule made so the Braves played on the road or did they play professional MLB in the middle of the Olympics? Also; was the olympic baseball played at the Braves homefield? |

Yes, Olympic baseball was played in the old Fulton Counted stadium which was the Braves home field at the time.
The Braves played on the road for a 20-day, 17-game road trip during the Olympics. |

Are there aerial images of Turner Field when it was configured as the Olympic track field, and when it was converted for baseball? I have seen the stadium in pictures as both, but have not really seen a side-by-side comparison of the two.
