Yes, that Charlotte thread was amazing!!! He is the king of aerial photography, and it is very nice of him that he shares his work with the forumers over at SSP

beautiful pic of knoxville! while it's downtown isn't all that impressive, the natural skyscrapers really make the city. that picture also shows an awesome perspective on how big neyland stadium really is.

Parkland Hospital, UT Southwestern Medical Center Campus(linked by the elevated pathway, and Children's Medical Center. The shorter in height industrial area to the left is a lot of older support buildings. That area is now under construction as a large TOD called Cityville at Southwestern.

Yes, there are lots of highrise areas in Dallas.

^ Nice job on that one. It really hits home that the skyline will almost double in size in the next few years if all these projects go through.

The other day I drove from Elizabeth, up past the stadium, and over to Fourth Ward. I realized that, no matter where you are in Uptown, you can see construction everywhere. Not just on highrises but also on infill projects and renovations and weird projects like the hotel-turned-condo in Second Ward. It's really incredible to see a city transform itself so quickly.

That small Charlotte aerial is really interesting, because on any given day you could never convince me that aerial is the same city in this link.

Scattered with dense clusters...much like Houston. I'll admit Houston's central core is denser but Atlanta's outlying skylines are much more impressive. Buckhead alone, while just getting started will be superb in ten years. I still say you take a person who has never seen Dallas, Atlanta, or Houston, describe the city to them in regard to size and prominence, then drive through it with them and they wouldn't be able to tell one from another.
