Sparkling Emerald Palace Residences launched for the Crescent, Palm Jumeira

Sunny Beach Properties and Sun Rise Properties, members of the Emerald Palace Group have announced plans for a palatial, seven storey residential boutique development on the Crescent of Palm Jumeira.

Emerald Palace Resort
The first of its kind for the Crescent which circles the exterior of the Palm, Emerald Palace Residences will boast luxurious accommodation in one of the world's most sought after locations.

The sprawling plans feature 200 elegant two and three bed apartments and Penthouse suites. Equipped with roomy balconies and spectacular views of the Arabian Gulf and Palm Island, the residences are dedicated to opulent waterfront living. The lavish architecture with its imposing Palladian dome is expected to become a recognized characteristic of Palm Jumeira's skyline.

Sultan Bin Sulayem, Chairman, Nakheel LLC commented, 'The Emerald Palace Residence is a stunning development of the highest quality. Testimony to the unique nature of the Palm Islands there has been considerable investment both regionally & internationally and we are delighted that the Emerald Palace Group has chosen to be a part of this exciting project.'

Each property will have exclusive access to an immaculate 500 metre sandy beach enabling residents to lounge amongst the palms or take a dip in the azure blue waters. Likewise no expense will be spared in the construction of the properties which will boast the latest in interior design. The finest imported materials and the most recent technological advances will be included, ensuring that each resident will have the ultimate dream home-opulent yet elegant.

Continuing Sultan Bin Sulayem said, 'We expect there will be unprecedented demand for these apartments which are the first to have been unveiled on the Crescent, offering spectacular views out to sea and the highest standard of living.'

The developer, The Emerald Palace Group is comprised of several companies specializing in architecture, finance and real estate development, the company also has projects underway on the Palm Jebel Ali. In addition leading project consultants Atkins, renowned for their role in the Burj Al Arab 7-star hotel, have been selected to manage the development.

The prestigious European firm Poznyakizhilstroy, with a reputation for their international standards will be the project architects, along with PEBM - the largest New York based architectural practice offering expertise in planning & design. Completion of the development is expected for 2007.

The Emerald Palace Residences will be located adjacent to The Emerald Palace Hotel and Resort. Occupying in excess of a staggering, 1 million square feet of land, the development promises the ultimate in first class, luxury living. Over 60% of the land will be dedicated to providing lush green gardens, recreational areas and swimming pools. In line with the vision of excellence, both complexes will be managed by an international 5-star deluxe hotel group.

Sales of the properties will be handled by Better Homes a leading real estate agent in the UAE with sales of the apartments from 19th April onwards.

Oh, I thought it would be a hotel.

There was a huge picture (2 pages) in the newspaper showing the Palace. And I must say, it's AMAZING!!! (not the one with the palm on it)

Check out the website, very nice. Although the architecture would suit a university campus more!
