Not such a mystery. I said I'd change it if you want, but questioned the value of doing so - you explained the value you get out of it and it's a good reason, thus it was changed.

The greatest challenge to always having thread titles up to date is not apathy but time...there are so many threads to read to understand current status and so little time.

If you notice thread titles that need updating send me a PM & I'll fix them up - that's the general process in the NSW section and is a big help in keeping things current.

I read in The Australian today that they're looking to extend the height of this by 10 floors. I think I saw some previous comments in this thread about a height extension but couldn't remember any specifics.

Pretty much what you just said. 10 floors up to 300m in height.

I noticed yesterday that the cross block link is definitely now open, but it is one of the most barren stretches of concrete this side of King George Square!

wont they go for RL300m.? which means 296m?
these days planners/archietcts/developers dont go with heights above grd. its all about how high they are above sea level, especially regarding airport regulations. biut if they do go for 300m above grd ,this equates to 304mRl which is approx 1000ft/.

Well they keep saying they want to go higher than Eureka so probably more likely to be 304mRL then.

Well in that video posted above by PJ that guy Paul says towering almost 300m above the city skyline.....make what you will of that.

So glad sales are going well. I have a good feeling about this one. They might even start building before the middle of next year (which means signing a builder earlier of course). That will put them well in front of Shayher.......which is almost a certainty to keep going.

This will be spectacular when finished. I like the way it's progressing; quite fast.

Why don't they do what they did with Q1 and put a 30 metre stick on the top of the building. That would make 300 metres

I hate to do this to yous all but there still has been no mention of the car park opening. Last time I went past I don't think they had any facilities set up for paying your $1 a day.

A helmet a long time back told me he reckoned it would be Christmas before it gets operating. Of course, they would probably have little need at this stage to have a global launch for their car park.

Also, the hotel component of the site would now be involved as a seperate entity, I guess.

Just curious. Wondering if anybody lurking in the shadows knows what is intended.

Thank you for your patience. lol
