Approval is sought to demolish the two existing single storey buildings and to construct a 21 level mixed-use development including one commercial tenancy at the ground floor level, 136 residential units above and 131 residential car parking bays and 1 commercial tenant car parking bay. Further details of the proposed residential and commercial development are as follows:-
Ground floor – This level contains one commercial tenancy (100m2) proposed to be used as a restaurant, the residential lobby, bin store, tank rooms, pump room, transformer room, switch room and the fire control room. The vehicle entrance into the car park is also provided at this level from Stirling Street providing access to 66 bicycle parking bays, 20 residential car parking bays and 1 commercial tenant bay.
First floor – This level contains 22 residential car parking bays, 36 motorcycle bays and 12 residential stores. There are two residential apartments2facing Stirling Street including one apartment with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (69m ) and one apartment with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom (56m2).
Second floor – This level contains 22 residential car parking bays and 10 residential stores. There are two residential apartments facing Stirling Street including one apartment with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (69m2) and one apartment with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom (56m2).
Third to fourth floors – These levels contain 22 residential car parking bays and 10 residential stores at each level.
