An update of some of the RTA's projects

1. Some recent Satellite Imagery Updates from Google Maps show that they have already started with the overpasses on Umm Suqeim Road.Link


2. Progress has been made with the Al Sufouh Tram Depot Link


3. Downtown Dubai and Business Bay has now been linked, with some works continuing. If only they can restart the unfinished bridge... Link


4. The Overpasses that form part of the Parallel Roads Project at Jumeirah Lakes Towers is progressing okay. Link

5. The World Trade Centre Bridges Project seems to be progressing well.Link


6. I believe all interchanges that form part of the Al Khail Road Expansion project is now open, which is visible on the High Resolution Digital Globe Satellite Imagery.

I forgot to add that I believe that work also seems to be continuing on the parallel roads project in Jebel Ali...

Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority has given the green light to a plan for constructing 17 pedestrian bridges by 2016 covering vital areas in Dubai.
