Such an underrated city... There are so many clusters of dense areas... lots of cool places to find unique shops/restaurants/bars!

The only real complaint I have about the skyline here is it's barely lit up at night. One KC with its red lights up top can barely be seen from just a few miles away. Now, when they use just white light up there it can be seen from pretty far. I figured they would have switched those over to an LED system by now. One KC's setbacks (when looked at closely) seem to have some sort of streetlight type lighting in some of them. Kinda sad looking. In the daytime you can see the skyline from miles and miles away but at night? Forget about it. Example: My office is on one of the highest points in Lees Summit. In the day I can see the skyline and at night it's like where is it??? I'd have to say in the short time I've lived here the only saving grace for a almost dark skyline is the Marriott but even then its short and the lights can only be seen from the south. I was also told Town Pavillion used to be lit up on its crown. I can't find any pictures of it ever been lit up.
