Says who, Mocha? :p

RA 4156 expired last 2014 - prior to this, RA 10638 was signed into law extending PNR's corporate life for another 50 years (2064).

Quote:
REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10638

AN ACT EXTENDING THE CORPORATE LIFE OF THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL RAILWAYS FOR ANOTHER FIFTY (50) YEARS, FURTHER AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4156, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED "AN ACT CREATING THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL RAILWAYS, PRESCRIBING ITS POWERS, FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES, AND PROVIDING FOR THE NECESSARY FUNDS FOR ITS OPERATION"
Quote:
"SECTION 1. Name, Duration and Domicile. – A corporation to serve as the instrumentality of the Government of the Philippines in providing a nationwide railroad and transportation system, is hereby created to be known as the Philippine National Railways, which shall exist for a term of fifty (50) years from the date of approval of this Act and shall be extended for another fifty (50) years, commencing on 20 June 2014. It shall have its main office in the City of Manila, and shall have such branches and agencies within the Philippines as may be necessary for the proper conduct of its business. This Corporation shall be under the Department of Transportation and Communications."

The platforms are too narrow for any possible increase in the volume of passengers in the not so distant future...

It bothers me to no end that the grass / greenery is supposed to be BESIDES the rail tracks, not on it!

4th Quarter of 2017 is nearly start na. And nearly start of the construction of PNR Manila-Clark Line.

Basic rule of road or rail crossing: STOP, LOOK, and LISTEN.

A nearby footbridge is being constructed along Espana. The need to add a barricade for pedestrians once the footbridge is completed.

I think 5.2-15m ang height clearance for PNR North at South depende sa lugar kung saan dadaanan ng riles
