Does anyone know the sq footage of this and how many people are expected to work there?

Are UBS moving in all their city employees from UBS GAM down near Bank as well as the bank? Guessing the wealth guys in Mayfair will stay there.

It looks like a futuristic set that was thrown together at the last minute in an 80's sci-fi episodic.

Employees will benefit a lot from the natural light. They should be happy.

A lot of the scaffolding is coming down on Sun Street passage giving some new views, for anyone walking by tomorrow.

can we all agree that this is absolutely apalling in almost every way possible? I am grieving for what we lost and I'm furious about what we got. I took a couple of colleagues to see it the other day and they all looked pretty sad and depressed by it. It really is crap.

It's looking a lot better now the final cladding is being revealed/installed. Will have to have a wander up that way to see it in the flesh.

At least the development is on the north side of the open space which minimizes shadowing on the public open space. Its a bit worrying though if the other elements of Broadgate were to be redeveloped and raised in height similar to the UBS building, the open space may become a very dank and dark place.

I knew the pixelated stuff wasn't the final cladding. Now it will look good!

Looking at it from my office window and I'm hoping they find a way to hide the massive plant machinery on the roof, granted it wont be visible from street level but its not an attractive addition to the skyline

I'd be hoping they could hide the whole building from street level! I find it soulless and prison like and really quite oppressive. I know I should really see it in person to make a full judgement but it looks like such a mean building.

It is looking better now that the final cladding is being installed. But it's still the wrong development in the wrong place

In Canary Wharf, where I think a building like this would of worked it would be seen as radical!
