You say you have only one line with 8 stations? I dont get it... What are the red, blue and green lines then? (Sorry, sadly I've never been to Sofia before...)

And about the extension: Could You please post some pics, photos and info? Completion date, costs, plans, etc.

Most of the tunnels were already built in the 80s by the commies. Even some of the stations are barely finished, like this on the NDK. It would not be so hard to build that line, cause most of the work is already done and stalled..

How many half finished tunnels and stations do You have? Both Red and Blue lines? What about the green?

I wish I could see some photos of the closed down, half finished subways... They could be so spooky...

But green lines tunnel was built already or its just a plan and just the tunnels of the red and blue lines were built in the 80s?

Sorry for asking so many questions...

BTW: Slivnitsa is one ugly station... Sorry for this as well...

Many blue line's tunnels were built before. I don't know anything about the green line, it seems strange...er, I've not heard anything about it before. Red and blue lines, especially under the downtown were dug in the 80s. The red line is now extended to the south-eastern parts of the city and to the airport.

Overall, we have only 8 stations operational now and lots of construction.

Photos of the construction sites were posted in the Sofia - construction thread and I posted some in the "your neighbourhood" thread - cause I live near one of the future red line stations.

Ugh, they have a disgusting website

I've travelled to Obelya years ago. Anyway, as far as I can remember, Obelya was the worst of all. And Serdika is the best one. Those images on the site are ugly though. Unfortunately, taking photos from the stations is forbidden (anti-terrorism BS). So that I can't take photos from them

Yupp, and with grammer mistakes too, but it happens everywhere, so no problem, but the photos seem to be quite old...

They will perhaps force you to delete the photos As the flash card is formatted with the FAT32 filesystem, recovery and undelete is very easy though

But if they arrest you...it's kinda bad, bad experience

I dont think they will... You can find lots of photos of the subway stations of Budapest on the net, especially the new refurbished ones on Metro line 2 (red).
